Status Report as at 16 April 1999

7. Nov. 98	Informal meeting to discuss the placing of mooring buoys on the dive sites around Panagsama to prevent anchoring. Stephen Castillo donates 18 buoys and offers to sell further buoys for 200P/piece. Everybody is responsible for placing buoys, replacing missing ones.
Nov. 98	Interested parties make an initial donation of total 14'000 pesos. Material gets bought, stored behind Neptune Dive shop, money & accounts with Regula Wright. Stephen donates 50 bottles of rubbing alcohol to accompany an information letter for the fishermen at Sunken Island. First lot of buoys gets fixed.
Dec. 98	Rest of the buoys get prepared in a common action and put out.
Feb./Mar.99	Replacement of some of the missing buoys by various people. Rudy Poitiers collects a buoy and fixes it on a new dive site - Dolphin House (before White beach). Participates with donation.
April 99	Stephen donates another 10 buoys with fluorescent stickers instead of paint. He also offers to provide mesh bags for collection of rubbish by divers. Collection of donations to continue with the project
