If you've come to Moalboal with a bad impression of Filipino food, here is one of the places where you could lose it!

This small, clean "eatery" is situated next to Paradise just by the basketball court and is run by a couple of girls who used to work at BJ's place, Sumisid Lodge.

The owners know how to cook and they know what standards foreigners expect. The food is simply cooked and presented using local ingredients and will not break the budget of the most peso-counting traveller. A meal for two, with drinks, is unlikely to be more than P100. They have some very tasty barbecue which makes a pleasant snack in between dives as well as being very fast. Red Banana has a more standard menu in the evening and more usual prices. Red Banana runs an "All You Can Eat" buffet regularly which is good value at around P150-200 per head.

If you want something special or plan to go in a large group, please go and speak to the girls before you wish to eat to make sure that they have what you want.
