Hello People!!

Here comes another fun filled letter from sunny
Moalboal. The weather is great now and the water is
warming up. Visibility gets better every day and
diving is great.

Uli (Inst. Neptune sometimes) would like to give a tip
to those of you that; a month after you left the
Philippines the girlfriend calls and needs money
because she's sick. He now sells an insurance that
would take care of that problem.

A bit sad to say but Dino (Owner Italian corner) has
passed away. He had surgery done in Italy but it did
not work. Just two weeks before he left for Italy Mike
(former owner of Hot Shot) and I asked him to make a
Dino-special Pizza. After a few bites we both looked
at each other and said "This is the best pizza I've
had in my life". So those of you that did not try his
pizza really missed something.

WEATHER:
About 29 degrees, sunshine and blue skies every day.
You should come and visit. Well except for the last
two days. There is a big typhoon in the east Visayas
on it's way to Luzon that has given us some bad
weather. This morning it was down to 24 degrees
Celsius. Cold hey!

ACTIVITIES:
The soccer games on Mondays and Fridays are still on
There is also Sunday White beach BBQ, beer and
bolleyball (3b)

The Coastal Conservation and Education Foundation has
helped Saavedra barangay to startup their Marine
sanctuary. You now have to pay 50 pesos (half price
for Philippinos) if you want to go there to swim or
dive. They will have a fulltime guard there to make
sure that there is no fishing or collection going on
with in the core zone. Maximum divers for one dive
boat is 10 and no more than 30 divers will be allowed
in one day. The Moalboal Buoy project gave them Buoys
( that was donated to them by Sun Pride foods, Cebu)
buoy lines, pick up lines and wished them good luck. I
could tell that they really appreciated that.

Courses: May 12, 2002. Have we scheduled an IDC here
in Neptune Diving Adventure? The IE will be in Cebu
City on the May 22-23, 2002. November 10, 2002. Have
we scheduled an IDC here in Neptune Diving Adventure?
The IE will be in Cebu City on the November 20-21,
2002. If any of you people are interested in taking
the IDC here with us at Neptune Diving Adventure or if
you know somebody else who might be interested in
taking there IDC. Please send us an email so we can
forward you some more information about the IDC & IE.

info@... Safari: March 25-29, 2002. Have
we scheduled a safari in the Visayan area. Places we
will visit during this safari is: Sumilon Is, Apo Is,
Balicasag Is, Duljo Point and Liloan Point. Price for
this is $90USD per person and day and this is included
in the price: Tank and weights, Unlimited guided
dives, twin share in air-con room and three meals a
day.

BIRTHS, SOCIAL AND GOSSIP:
Marco (former owner of Bulldog) and Mary-Lou have
moved to Germany. He's going to take over his father's
restaurant there. We wish you the best of luck.

Takafumi (new instructor on the beach) just got
married to Lynneth (Sumiside lodge)

Feb 26 the Moalboal church turned 150 years old. They
had a lot of school kids marching and dancing outside
the church giving a really professional performance.
In the evening the chose and crowned the prince and
princess for the event. Mike's (hot-shot owner)
daughter Emelie (Guapa mestiza) and Greg's (good old
Greg) son Eli (Guapo mestizo) won and became the pride
of Basdiot.

The Visaya restaurant is now reopened. Ling-Ling
(Jorgen's wife) threw a big party with lots of beer
and excellent food to celebrate the event.

WHALE SHARK SIGHTINGS:
Greg (Inst. Visaya) is the first one I have ever heard
of seeing a thresher shark at Pescador, but now it's
done.

YA GOTTO LOVE THIS COUNTRY!
In Cebu the other week, a guy got stabbed to death by
his friend over who was to use the karaoke microphone.
Serious shit man!
