Accommodation in Moalboal, Philippines

There is a variety of places to stay in Moalboal, enough to suit almost every pocket or requirement from budget nipa huts under US$10 per night to US$150+ per night luxury. I'll list these in different pricing ranges.
Note: All groupings very are approximate, please contact the resort direct to check availability and exact prices. Prices are also usually higher in the high season (Christmas to Easter).

Where possible I have included web sites or e-mail addresses for the various places to stay.
  • Budget: room or (usually) cottage made of bamboo and coconut, a fan, a mosquito net, clean bedding once a week, maybe a towel or two if you ask. The room will be cleaned "sometimes", which if you're lucky means every day, if not maybe every week and if not it's DIY! You will not find cheap rooms generally advertised on the Internet . . . you'll have to walk round yourself and talk to people. Or if you are planning an extended visit, ask the staff of your dive shop since they will certainly know someone with a cheap room or cottage for rent. Standards (and prices) have risen dramatically in the last few years - the days of P20 a night are long gone!
  • Mid-Priced: for this price range you will get a well-built, concrete cottage with reasonable furnishings, air-con, hot & cold water, bedding changed frequently and fresh towel daily or whenever you need. You should also get a pleasant environment without much noise. Most rooms in Moalboal now fall into this category; Moalboal is no longer a backpackers hangout :(
  • Expensive: at these prices you should get air-con, hot and cold water, daily laundry and room cleaning, pleasant outlook with a beach side location, swimming pool or otherwise a place where you should like to spend time
