Woman gets first-degree burns from hot water

Cebu Sun.Star - Wed, 2023-07-19 13:59
A WOMAN who was doused with a hot water by her live-in partner last Saturday, July 15, 2023, suffered first-degree burns to her face and body.

Because she could never forgive her live-in partner Eleazar Amandoron, Fely Cabusas vowed that she would file a lawsuit against him.

Amandoron acknowledged his error and explained that he had already lost tolerance due to Cabusas’ frequent teasing of him in front of her friends.

He claimed that they often argued with the victim regarding their past.

He asserted that there were instances when they were unable to come to an agreement because his live-in partner insisted on making all the decisions.

Cabusas also criticized Amandoron for his appearance, including his genitalia, he continued.

The suspect acknowledged that on Saturday evening, July 15, 2023, after catching Cabusas exchanging chat messages with her alleged boyfriend, who is in jail, he lost control and dumped hot water on her, who had just been freed from custody under the terms of her probation.

According to Amandoron, the victim also accused him of hiding her personal care items.

Amandoron claimed that Cabusas told him to leave their house in the midst of their disagreement and threatened to leave on her own if he didn't.

The perpetrator said that while he was looking for the victim's cosmetics, he came upon a thermo jug, picked it up, and then poured its contents all over the victim.

"Sa kalagot nako dala sa selos kay daghang siyag lalaki! Dunay mihunghong naku gisugo ko sa Yawa nga bubua’g ininit tubig" Amandoron said.

(My envy over her many men caused me to become enraged, and a devil whispered to me to pour hot water).

The couple has four children.

Amandoron claimed he had no regret about his actions.(BBT, TPT)
