Death toll by typhoon Doksuri rises to 5 in Philippines

MANILA, July 27 (Xinhua) -- The death toll in heavy rains, floods, and landslides triggered by typhoon Doksuri climbed to five, the Philippines' national disaster agency said on Thursday.

The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said four were buried in a landslide in Benguet province in the northern Philippines and one in Rizal province, east of Metro Manila.

MANILA, July 25 (Xinhua) -- The number of working children in the Philippines continues to rise, with an estimated 1.48 million children aged 5 to 17 working in 2022, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) said on Tuesday.
