Why Moalboal?

Seems a bit quiet in here so I'm going to ask the question "Why go to Moalboal ?" Different people go to Moalboal for many different reasons, the diving, the action, the drinking... My reasons are a bit different. I go to Moalboal for the people. Of all the places I have been to, I find the best mix of people in Moalboal. In Alona you can find great beaches and diving. In Boracay you can find great discos and food. In Puerto Gallera you can find beaches and Australians, but in Moalboal, above all else, it is the people. Any comments

I love the place... thing is last i was there, there was a serious lack of water  (the heat evaporating the water from kawasan, and the sheer number of guests, as per elvie of marina) so i left after one night... is there any chance that the water supply is better in basdaku? like in ravenala or serena? :?:

Basdaku is AFAIK fed from the same water supply as Panagsama (ie. up above Kawasan). However there is far less pressure (probably in both senses!) on the supply so it may be better. However water supply from May until the typhoon season gets properly underway can be a problem. Has anyone any recent experience in Basdaku? Cheers, Simon.
