Hello People!!

Since my last letter I got caught by the police, read on and I will tell you what happened.

Johnny and Marina (Joris friends) saw a whale shark last May 16'Th. I thought that we would not see any more whale sharks until next season, but it's nice to hear that they are still around. Diving now is great, warm water and really good visibility. Good old Greg reports that you can see sunken island (25 m) from the surface now.

Short note: When you visit Immigration; do not forget to wear long pants and no flip-flops. It looks like they have a new drive for proper dress code.

The police got me when I was making an illegal left turn, that cost me 200 Pesos (4$US) :)

WEATHER:

About 29 degrees, sunshine and blue skies every day. You should come and visit.

BIRTHS, SOCIAL AND GOSSIP:

Congratulations to Nelson that got re-elected councilor. Now we wonder what is going to happen to all the roads in Cebu when the election is over. It looks like they have spent all the money on breaking up all the old roads, and then they're out of money to finish the new roads. Roger Tapalesÿ. . . did not get elected.

Ling Ling has now closed her visaya restaurant. She is planning to soon open the first supermarket in down town Panagsama.

Today is Jochens (planet action) birthday. The rumor is that his having a big party at the farm house tonight.

Thomy (Neptune) is moving back to Switzerland with his whole family in the end of this month. His looking forward to give his kids a proper education with a bit of "ordnung"

Humpi has now sold his share of Sea Explorer here in Moalboal. He has a wet suit sale at the moment. Just go to Loves cottage and talk to Elvie. The wetsuits are quite small and thick. 20-50US$

LETTERS FROM ABROAD:

Hello everybody.

Hope that you all are fine, where ever you are in the world. Here in the north it is getting really pleasant with everything waking up after the wintersleep, green everywhere. It is great.

And here is the news, Andy and I will have not only one baby, but also TWO in the end of November...........We thought it was best, being so old and all!!!! You can maybe believe it was a shock on the ultrasound. But the shock has been replaced by pure happiness. And Andy is very proud; thinking it is his work. I don't have the heart to tell him it is actually not up to the man....ha, ha.

So as you can understand I will not be able to go to Philippines next year....very sad. But Andy will go for a short time, leaving me with two screaming kids.....help!!! No, then I will move to my parent's house to get some help.

Anyway, take care everybody and keep in touch.

THE DEEP THOUGHT:

Anyone can be a millionaire here now. The new president Magapagal-Arroyo is getting pissed off at Abu-Sayaf and is offering 5 million in reward for every Abu-Sayaf gang member captured.

Chicago and I are going to Sweden on vacation soon, so there will not be a July newsletter.
